Build for the shop on the corner

We're nine people now and want to be twelve by March. Every role spends one day a month behind a real counter.

Open roles

What you get

The salary, up front

Every role shows its range. No guessing, no haggling.

Three days in, two out

Tuesday to Thursday together. The rest from wherever you work best.

Data and a phone

50GB a month and the same cheap phone our shops use.

Twenty days off

Plus your birthday, and the week between Christmas and New Year.

How we hire

  1. 1

    A 20-minute call

With the person you'd work with most, not a recruiter.

  2. 2

    A paid half-day

A real small problem, paid at R2,500. No unpaid take-home work.

  3. 3

    A morning at a shop

Meet a shop owner who uses our apps, then the team for lunch.

Good questions

Do I need a degree?

No. Show us something you made, or tell us about a problem you fixed.

What happens to my CV?

Only the people hiring for that role see it. We delete it six months after the role closes, unless you ask us to keep it.

Can I apply in isiZulu or Afrikaans?

Yes. Write in the language you think in.
